Pre-construction planning is essential for the success of any construction project, large or small. Proper planning sets the foundation for the entire construction process and significantly influences the project's outcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE PRE-CONSTRUCTION PROCCESS
After you have accepted our estimate, we'll work to finalize the design of your project and begin coordinating with our sub contractors
Through out this stage we will also begin building a schedule for the project and we'll save some time on our overall schedule in order to complete the work
Before the start date, we'll schedule some meetings at your home with our subcontractors for them to look over the project and to start planning for the work that they will be responsible for
We'll have one last meeting with you to go over the contract and any last minute details or changes
Over the time period leading up to the start date of the project we will keep in contact in order to update you of how things are progressing and if there are any schedule adjustments that need to be made
At this stage you will want to start thinking about how to prepare for our arrival. We will need all of your personal items and furniture out of the area. If there is something that is too large or heavy to move, please give us a call in advance so that we can form a plan to either remove the item from the workspace or to protect it during the construction phase
