In school I developed a passion for working with my hands. I remember the satisfaction of working with different types of wood in shop class. Woodworking was something that I could see myself doing. I love that I now get to work with wood in some form or another in the remodeling industry. But my remodeling career didn't start out with woodworking.
I started out working for my dad's drywall business in 2001. Our company took pride in installing drywall for custom home builders here in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. At first, I didn't think I would enjoy drywall. However, over the years, I learned the many different facets of the drywall industry, and I actually grew a passion for perfecting drywall repairs and matching different textures. Drywalling is something that I still enjoy to this day.
Through the years of working with and around other trades I began to develop an interest in remodeling. It has been a privilege to learn skills from some of the best craftsman.
In 2015 I decided to focus more on remodeling. In 2022 I received my remodeling license with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department. We are looking ahead to doing some great projects in the future.
If you would like to have some input on a project that you are thinking about doing please feel free to contact me. And, whether you hire me or not, I hope to have an opportunity to bring some of my years of experience into your home. Thank you for reading my story.
(P.S. The picture at the top of this page is of me installing hardwood flooring in our personal home. And as you can see our dog Roxy is helping me with the install)
